I read this book for my son, who has been begging me for a puppy.

He loved the story and the illustrations and learned a lot about the responsibilities and challenges of having a pet. He also enjoyed exploring the different types of pets that the book introduced, such as fish, birds, hamsters, and even rocks. He realised that only some pets are suitable for some families, and some require more care and attention than others.
