I liked the story. It has touched an unusual aspect of life, to find out what it was you will have to read. I don’t want to give spoilers.

The narration of the story is more suited to be an audiobook than reading. The expressions are built and set that way in the conversations. It will do good as an audiobook because of a lot of usage of umms and uhs.

There were a few things that didn’t go down well with me. The protagonist seems to be high on testosterone and know it all kind of guy. No young teen would in his sane mind start using cuss words with his or his friend’s parents. And moreover the next moment the parents are kind of apologizing for parenting. Doesn’t seem normal.

Also, it wasn’t logical for a 17yr old to take the kind of decision that the characters in this book did. Nowadays young teens are too smart to get themselves into such situations. It may happen to someone but I feel it can’t here coz the setup that they are in doesn’t justify their actions.

All in all an OK read.
